Initial Enquiry...
The initial enquiry begins with filling out our short design form.
This includes providing contact details, dimensions, materials, budget constraints and even rough drawings or pictures of a particular design you are thinking of.
The more information you can provide here can greatly reduce the time it takes to get an initial price.
If you are unsure with anything in this step, we are more than happy to help in any way we can.
How Does The Design Process Work?
The first step in custom designing a piece of furniture is taking the information provided by the client.
For example, information in relation to the dimensions, materials, design elements and budget constraints.
From here we begin to create rough sketches on paper.
This process helps us to quickly develop an idea to then take the next step.
We then begin 3D CAD (computer-aided design) drawings.
This further helps in getting the proportions and design of the piece looking right and to the client’s specifications.
This step also aids in the joinery that will be used in constructing the piece
We then pass these drawings on to the client and from there, alterations can be made to the drawings until we have the perfect piece.
The upmost care is taken in this step to ensure the piece will not just be beautiful but also functional and built to last a lifetime.
Cost & Timeframes...
The cost can vary from piece to piece depending on the materials used and the design and complexity of the piece.
We require a 30% deposit before work commences.
Depending on current workloads, the timeframe for a piece to be completed can be anywhere from 5 to 10 weeks from the time of the initial deposit being paid.
This will be confirmed at the time of your initial inquiry.

AMERICAN WHITE OAK DINING TABLE
This is another custom designed piece made from American White Oak. It features a 70mm thick top to give it a substantial appearance. This table measured 2.0m long by 1.0m wide.
AMERICAN WHITE OAK RECEPTION DESK
A build we have recently completed is this massive 4.2m X 1.2m White Oak reception desk. This desk is to be located up an 11 story high-rise in Melbourne, Victoria so it had to be made in two halves to fit in an elevator.
EBONIZED WHITE OAK DINING TABLE
Another of our signature Murray dining tables this time made from ebonized white oak. Measuring in at 2.5m X 1.2m in size
RECYCLED IRONBARK DINING TABLE
This large dining table was created using recycled Ironbark bridge timbers. Measuring in at 3.7m X 1.1m in size this table was made to seat 12 people.
EBONIZD WHITE OAK ROUND TABLE
This round table measured in at 2.4m in diameter. It features a basket weave parquetry top and solid X style base. A white pigment was added to the finish to highlight the grain in the timber.
JARRAH DINING TABLE
This custom designed table was made from solid Jarrah and measured in at 2.8m X 1.2m in size.
AMERICAN BLACK WALNUT DINING TABLE
Our signature Murray dining table made from solid American Black Walnut. This table measured in at 1200mm X 2400mm
HERRINGBONE AMERICAN OAK DINING TABLE
This custom built table features a herringbone parquetry top and curved pillar style legs. Measuring 2.4m X 1.2m in size.
SPOTTED GUM DINING TABLE
This dining table was custom designed and built from solid Spotted Gum. Measuring 2.7m X 1.5m in size this table can seat up to 12 people. Featuring traditional joinery with Breadbord ends this table was built to last.
AMERICAN OAK DINING TABLE
This custom dining table was designed with the client to match existing furniture they own. Seating 6 people, this table was built to last a lifetime. Made from solid American White Oak.
